Alpine tourism accounts for around 375 million paid-for and 150 million unpaid nights and therefore can be counted among the most intensive tourism regions in the world. Even more important is the high-quality and sustainable development of this living and recreational area of the Alps.

Through the theALPS Award 2015, outstanding achievements in alpine tourism based on the central theme of cycling/biking in Alpine tourism should be reconized. An international jury of leading representatives from science and practice are responsible for the selection of the nominees and prize-winner.

The submission period for the Award runs form the 7th April 2015 to the 26th May 2015.

Projects/Services: Only projects which have already been implemented can be submitted; these must have been available for at least one year. Studies, concepts and projects/services still at the developmental stage cannot be taken into consideration.
