The AlpNet – Network currently unites European tourism partners from France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
With the founding of AlpNet, eight of the leading tourist organisations in the Alps have decided to confront the global challenges together, and in so doing to strengthen alpine tourism in all its facets. It's all about further developing and boosting sustainable Alpine tourism.
The tourist industry event ‘theAlps 2016’ will take place from 19th to 21st October in Innsbruck, Tirol, focussed on the subject “Future of winter tourism in the Alps”. The event gathers about 400 tourism managers and opinion leaders in the heart of the Alps.
On the 20th October, the theALPS Trading Room is fully dedicated to business: pre-scheduled business meetings together with breakout-sessions distributing valuable input from experts are prepared for both, buyers and sellers from all over the Alpine Destinations. The get together in the evening on invitation only will even deepen well-established or newly formed business relations.
theALPS Symposium on Friday, 21st October is featuring cutting-edge content and unique networking opportunities for Alpine Tourism Managers, assembling some of the greatest minds in Alpine Travel. Attendees have the ability to interact and share experiences, insights and knowledge through a series of Key Notes, research presentations and panel discussions, combined with time and opportunity for enlarging ones network.
